Care Instructions
Rugs
Professional cleaning is always recommended for all Kale Tree rugs, however, we suggest using the guidelines below when at-home care is needed:
Vacuum.
Use the lowest setting with the vacuum slightly raised from the rug's surface, and vacuum in the direction of the pile. Vacuuming twice a month may help maintain rugs, though the regularity of vacuuming may depend on foot traffic. Vacuuming may also be effective in lifting any dry spills.
Attend to spills quickly.
Blot the rug's surface using a soft cloth or paper towel to lift any initial moisture and mess, starting for the edges of the rug and moving inward. Move the rug out of pathways until completely dried.
Bamboo silk in particular may be impacted by weight and pressure during shipping or from furnishings. Steam or water spray the affected area, and vacuum without a brush once the liquid has been fully absorbed. Avoid putting any weight or pressure on the carpet until thoroughly dried.
Test before applying.
All cleaning solutions should be spot tested before applying to larger areas of the rug.
