Alliga by Tradescant & Son

$122.50

Sat on a deserted beach on the Island of Colonsay in the Hebrides was where Tradescant & Son found the inspiration for Alliga from their 2019 collection The Botanist. Alliga is an abstract interpretation of algae forming on rocks, as seen on the seashore. The beautiful color variations and mottled color tones created a beautiful effect. Printed onto a tactile Cotton/Linen blend.

Alliga textile is available in 3 colorways: Absinthe, Blush and Ink.

The Tradescant & Son range was inspired by the Lambeth collection of natural curiosities assembled by the 16th century English royal gardener and collector, John Tradescant. His collection was, uniquely for the time, open to the public, and its remains form the foundation of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford today. Tradescant & Son’s collection of printed linens is designed and printed in England onto a versatile linen/cotton blend cloth that is suitable for a wide range of upholstery and soft furnishing projects.

Fabrics are printed to order, please allow three weeks for delivery.

Please note that Linen is a natural product so there may be a variance of the ground cloth color from batch to batch. Please request a cutting of the ground cloth prior to printing if necessary. You may also find natural fibre slubs within the ground cloth. This is a natural attribute and not considered a fault.
