Entomology Moth Drawer by Tradescant & Son

Tradescant & Son’s dramatic Entomology collection features two different designs. Moth Drawer is a collection of tattered and delicate hand drawn moths, some complete and some showing their age and decay to create a raw and honest depiction.

Moth Drawer was painstakingly drawn from the historic entomology archives from the University of Oxford Museum of Natural History, and these forgotten collections will now grace furniture and windows Worldwide.

Entomology Moth Drawer textile is available in 6 colorways: Blush Oyster, Dust Oyster, Ink Natural Flax, Ink Oyster, Original Natural Flax, and Original Oyster.

This design is printed onto linen. It has been specifically woven to their specification in England and is a mid weight fabric. As a result, it is suitable for drapery or light upholstery. Most of all, the fabric is highly versatile, easy to iron and furthermore has a lovely handle making it drape beautifully.

Tradescant & Son provides a bespoke service for their clients which includes different base fabrics and colorways so they can offer a fully customized solution.

Fabrics are printed to order, please allow three weeks for delivery.

Please note that Linen is a natural product so there may be a variance of the ground cloth color from batch to batch. Please request a cutting of the ground cloth prior to printing if necessary. You may also find natural fibre slubs within the ground cloth. This is a natural attribute and not considered a fault.
