Laridae by Tradescant & Son
The most dramatic pattern of our new collection, Laridae is the name for the family of seagulls and this pattern is made up of starkly drawn seagull and other bird skulls. Not for the faint-hearted, this pattern is bold, but also suited for a variety of settings – a seaside or rural home, a rustic or masculine living space – and the delicate artwork means that the overall effect is light and airy.
Laridae textile is available in 3 colorways: Charcoal Natural Flax, Charcoal Oyster and Dust Oyster
This design is printed onto linen. It has been specifically woven to their specification in England and is a mid weight fabric. As a result, it is suitable for drapery or light upholstery. Most of all, the fabric is highly versatile, easy to iron and furthermore has a lovely handle making it drape beautifully.
Tradescant & Son provides a bespoke service for their clients which includes different base fabrics and colorways so they can offer a fully customized solution.
Fabrics are printed to order, please allow three weeks for delivery.
Please note that Linen is a natural product so there may be a variance of the ground cloth color from batch to batch. Please request a cutting of the ground cloth prior to printing if necessary. You may also find natural fibre slubs within the ground cloth. This is a natural attribute and not considered a fault.
